We had a delightful stay at Pond Cottage and fell in love with the beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself was cozy and had everything we needed for a short break. The pond was a wonderful feature, perfect for our dogs to enjoy. We also loved exploring the estate and taking peaceful walks in the quiet and serene environment. The staff at the gift shop were extremely friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. The drive to the cottage through the stunning woodland was truly breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return to this little gem of a cottage.
One small drawback was that we would have loved to have a fenced-off area around the cottage to keep our dogs off leash and provide more privacy. Additionally, the cottage was located right by the road, which meant there were people walking past and using the pond, compromising our sense of having a private space.

We had so much fun exploring the estate and playing tennis and table tennis nearby. The staff were super cool and the cottage had everything we needed, including a cozy fireplace for our late-night chats. We even spotted wild deer and the pond was perfect for chillaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The only thing we wished for was more late-night activities for young party-goers. Maybe a game room or a bonfire pit to keep the vibes going.

I had the most relaxing holiday at Pond Cottage, surrounded by beautiful woods and a peaceful pond. The cottage itself was cozy and welcoming, with a lovely open fire and comfortable bed. I enjoyed sitting outside in the garden, listening to birdsong and sipping my morning tea. The estate had numerous pathways to explore, and I absolutely loved dining at the estate's Bistro, which served delicious home-produced food. I can't recommend this tranquil location enough.
The only downside was the intermittent WiFi, but it didn't bother me much as I preferred to spend my leisure time in the natural outdoors. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a fenced-off area around the house to keep off-leash dogs and the public from coming too close.
